Toughened glass which is also known as tampered glass is stronger than the normal glass because it is subjected to chemical and thermal treatments while processing. The internal stress of these glasses is balanced to increase the strength. These are tough to break and when they do break, they don’t have those sharp edges which can hurt someone.
